It is a type of alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that can be found in grape or sugar cane juice. An excellent chemical exfoliant that helps stimulate cell regeneration and consequently collagen production. It also improves the skin barrier function and ceramide synthesis. Helps combat acne.
