Salicylic Acid

Cosmetic active ingredient. It is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) or water-soluble exfoliating acid that can penetrate inside the pore and dissolve the oily residues accumulated i it. It also has antibacterial keratolytic properties. It was first extracted from willow bark or Salix alba.
